Romualdez “CONGRESSMAN Manny Pacquiao has shown excellence in many fields especially in boxing where he always plays with fervent passion. He continues to win the hearts of so many people here and abroad,” yesterday said House independent bloc leader and Leyte (1st District) Rep. Ferdinand Martin “FM” G. Romualdez. This as House leaders yesterday sent good wishes and prayers to their colleague, Sarangani Rep. Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, who will face tomorrow American Chris Algieri in Macau to defend his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight belt. Romualdez and Speaker Feliciano “Sonny” Belmonte Jr. said they expect Pacquiao to win again and bring another honor to the country. “I wish you (Manny) all the very best of luck and we are sending all the positive vibes to help you win this fight,” said Romualdez. For his part, Belmonte predicted also that Pacquiao will win his fight tomorrow. But Belmonte appealed to Pacquiao “never be overconfident” to ensure his victory. “Give it your best. At the end, it will be another triumph for you. You have my prayers and best wishes, Manny. Mabuhay,” said Belmonte. Algieri is a 30-year-old American who was a former kickboxer from Long Island with a master’s degree and an ambition to be a doctor.

“CONGRESSMAN Manny Pacquiao has shown excellence in many fields especially in boxing where he always plays with fervent passion.
